The Celebrating Culture Committee invites you to join them November 21st from 6-7:30 pm for an evening to discover culture from our very own Dodge students and families!
Short presentations will be given every 30 minutes on various countries featured.
This months' spotlight is the Sault St. Marie Chippewa Indian Tribe! With 44, 000 members, they are primarily located in the state of Michigan and in the lower part of Ontario Canada across Michigan's border. This Indian Tribe originated from a group of native people dating from 3000 B.C. living in the Great Lakes region. They are divided into clans including - Crane, Loon, Bear, Fish, Marten, Deer and Bird. Stop by the map and learn some more interesting facts!
The map is continually updated throughout the year. If you have yet to hand in your green form please do so!
